Four Generations in the Workplace

In recent years, some major shifts have occurred in the workplace.

Baby Boomers, once the largest working demographic, are now outnumbered by Millennials. The standard top-down hierarchy has become more collaborative, with leaders at all levels. And even the location and means of work have shifted from rigidly structured to highly flexible.

With people living and working longer, there are now four generations in the workforce.

Each generation has unique experiences and characteristics, which makes the workplace both interesting and challenging at the same time.

It also offers great opportunity for each generation to learn and appreciate the strengths of the others.

Take time to listen to this podcast to learn what motivates different people and different generational demographics, what interests them, and what they value in work and life. You may find more common ground than you think, and you will certainly come to appreciate the unique perspectives of each.
