Today’s leaders must be able to communicate well across generations that bridge two centuries – from the silent generation through the space age and into today’s modern technical age. The diversity presents a challenge, and yet, there is a constant in the equation.

That constant is that people are people. Each person has unique strengths that are innate. Beneath the generations are these underlying strengths.

Strengths-based leadership spans the test of time. It allows team members from all generations to come together based, not on age or era, but on the strengths they each bring to the table. Add to these strengths the varying areas of experience, and you can create a true “A” team. A wise leader will embrace the synergies of this diversity, recognizing the treasure trove that it is for the organization.
